Tara, Ireland. Ancient Irish funeral games, a claimed elder of the Greek Olympics
Overview
Medieval Irish tradition traces the Tailteann Games to 632 BC, funeral contests held for the goddess Tailtiu at Telltown, making them a claimed elder of Olympia.
