Salt Lake City 2034 Winter Olympics

Salt Lake City, USA. Utah returns 32 years after its 2002 Games

Overview

Awarded in July 2024 alongside the 2030 French Alps, Salt Lake City returns three decades after its successful 2002 Games, reusing many of the same venues. It will be the fifth Winter Games on United States soil after Lake Placid 1932, Squaw Valley 1960, Lake Placid 1980 and Salt Lake City 2002. The bid leaned on proven snow and compact venue clusters.
