Athletes from the two Koreas paraded together and fielded a unified women ice hockey team, the first unified Korean Olympic squad in nearly three decades. Russia competed as Olympic Athletes from Russia after the Sochi doping findings. Norway set a Winter Games record with 39 medals, and big air snowboarding made its debut.
